Darcie Teasley is a professional Makeup Artist of almost 20 years. She started in retail, then went to Los Angeles and trained under a feature film/special effects artist to learn technique.

 

She brought the knowledge back to Houston and started working right away. Darcie was signed by an agency shortly after, and then another agency. At the time was the only artist in Houston with dual representation.

 

She started painting Sugar Skulls as a result of curiosity, wanting to connect with her heritage, and demand from clients. She studied the history of the art form and is now known as one the the experts in this area at cultural appropriation and painting of Dia de los Muertos makeups.
